Studios
Eventist Studios has no subscription, setup fee or per-student pricing. Membership and class billing runs at 0.5% to 1.9% of what you charge, and recital, showcase and workshop tickets are a flat $0.85 CAD per ticket.

Card processing
Payments run through your own Stripe or Square account, so the processor charges you directly and pays out to you directly. As of September 2026, Stripe Canada charges 2.9% + $0.30 per online card transaction; Square Canada charges 2.8% + $0.30 online and 2.5% for in-person tap and chip. You choose per event whether to absorb the Eventist fee and processing or pass either on to the buyer at checkout.
A $50 ticket, 1,000 tickets sold
Platform fees only, before card processing, which every platform charges on top. The percentage platforms cost more as your ticket price rises; the flat fee does not.

How much does Eventist cost?
Eventist charges a flat fee per paid ticket and nothing else: $0.85 CAD for general admission events, $4.99 for festivals and conferences, and $9.99 for competitions, with bulk pricing from $2.99 at volume. There is no monthly subscription, no setup fee, no annual licence and no per-feature add-on. Free events are free.
Is there a monthly fee or a contract?
No. You pay per paid ticket sold, so a quiet month costs nothing and you are never locked into a plan. Card processing is the only other cost, and it is paid to Stripe or Square at their published rate.
