Venues
Eventist for venues has no subscription, setup fee or per-seat licence. Everything a venue sells, from single tickets to season passes, flex passes and memberships, runs at 0.5% to 1.9% of what you charge.
Studios
Eventist Studios has no subscription, setup fee or per-student pricing. Membership and class billing runs at 0.5% to 1.9% of what you charge, and recital, showcase and workshop tickets are a flat $0.75 USD per ticket.

Card processing
Payments run through your own Stripe or Square account, so the processor charges you directly and pays out to you directly. As of October 2026, Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per online card transaction; Square charges 3.3% + $0.30 online and 2.6% + $0.15 for in-person tap and chip. You choose per event whether to absorb the Eventist fee and processing or pass either on to the buyer at checkout.

How much does Eventist cost?
Eventist charges a flat fee per paid ticket: $0.75 USD for event ticketing, general admission or reserved seating, $3.50 for festivals, conferences and trade shows, and $7 for competitions. Paid ticketing has no monthly subscription, and there is no setup fee, no annual licence and no per-feature add-on. Free events and free registrations run on a monthly plan instead, from $100 CAD a month with 200 free registrations included.
Is there a monthly fee or a contract?
Not for paid ticketing. You pay per paid ticket sold, so a quiet month costs nothing and you are never locked into a plan. Free tickets, free registrations and free RSVPs run on a month-to-month plan from $100 CAD, because there is no ticket fee to cover them; there is no contract and you can cancel at any time. Card processing is the only other cost, and it is paid to Stripe or Square at their published rate.

Yes. Choose per event whether to absorb the Eventist fee and processing or pass either or both on to the attendee at checkout. Either way the fee is shown to the buyer before they pay. An event with any ticket priced under $8 passes fees to the buyer on every ticket, since on a ticket that cheap the per-ticket fees can exceed the ticket itself.
